I bought the original copies a year ago, because I fell in love with 19th century fashion, when I became intreague with steampunk.

The dresses on the left are from 1886, Germany. The yellowish one is intended for promenades, while the purple one was to worn while travelling. 

The ballgowns on the right are from 1879, Germany.
